LCTD can provide documentary evidence to support the visa application of delegates from overseas. However, only delegates who have made full payments of course fees can request for course enrolment letter to support their visa applications at the British Embassy / High Commission.
The following are some suggestion regarding documents you may require to make an application for a short-term study visa:
Detailed information about visa requirements can be found on your local British Embassy’s website click here.
LCTD recommends that delegates make reservations and proper arrangement of where they intend to stay while in the UK. The hotel booking confirmation is very important as it is a requirement for most short-term study visa applicants. All resident delegates who have made full payment of course and accommodation fee will have confirmed accommodation letter issues to them as supporting evidence for their visa application. Click here to request your supporting documents.
Delegates attending the executive programmes will have confirmed accommodation booked in advance and the prices are included in the fees. There are different types of accommodation units, which are available for our participants; these include hotel accommodation as well as shares accommodation in apartments.
Non-resident delegates are advised to make proper accommodation arrangement during their stay in the UK. Note that LCTD cannot provide you with any supporting evidence about your accommodation arrangement if you are a non-resident delegate. Non-resident delegate is fully responsible for the cost of their stay while in the UK and all outstanding payments must be settled before departure.
Considering the location of our training venue, LCTD has an onsite accommodation. Alternative, if you wish to stay in a nearby location; you can find good rating and affordable hotels around. These hotels offer extremely good value accommodation at excellent prices for our delegates. Contact us directly for more information.
LCTD can arrange for a taxi to pick you up at the airport upon your arrival. It is important to note that this service is available only on one-way arrangements. We have a flexible option where delegates choose either to be picked up from the airport before the commencement of the course or taken back to the airport at the end of the training.
While we understand that some delegate may have excess luggage, we can only carry two (2) pieces of checked luggage, and it is expected that the luggage complies with the standard airline carriage dimensions. Contact us directly for your airport pick up arrangement.
